Election Alarm Clock Overview

Over three million people didn't vote in the last general election because they forgot to register or were away on polling day.

Election Alarm Clock is a really simple website where people can sign up to e-mail and SMS alerts reminding them at the appropriate times to vote and to register to vote.

To engage more people with the site, Election Alarm Clocks come with their own "Elejumper", a fun game about a forgetful elephant.

How it works

People come to the site, enter their details... and that's it.  They're then signed up to receive reminders.

In 2007, Swindon Borough Council alone contacted 13,000 residents using the Election Alarm Clock service!
