What would you do to get Facebookers interested in the Euro elections?
One of our contacts at the European Parliament has set up a Facebook group entitled ‘I’m going to vote in the Euro elections in 2009′ and is looking for interesting and exciting things to do with it to take its membership beyond the current (very respectable) 260-odd and counting.
He’s keen to stress that this is a personal endeavour, not an official European Parliament initiative, but if anything that probably gives it more scope to be an interesting place for experimentation. He’s leaning more toward starting it as ‘a hub for entertaining Europe-related content’ rather than a very worthy information resource or similar (good plan, I reckon) but any and all ideas and suggestions are very welcome. So what would you do? Leave us a comment with your thoughts!
