A massive government-wide consultation finder database! About time!
Its currently in beta so its not all singing and dancing as yet, but what a fantastic premise. We at Delib are no stranger to a consultation finder database but the scale and utility of this site deserves some extra attention.
On a personal note Im a big fan already and was actually directed to it from a personal email I received about a campaign I was interested about linking to it, not through my day job. So already its a: being used. Not just a big defunct build with no one using it = already halfway there.
The search function is looking nice and simple. RSS, ability for top-line comments, Hansard mentions, incoming links and a social media toollbar to share the goodness. Most importantly will be the ability to set up alerts to tell you when consultations of interest to you are published. Its not just uber-orgnaised campaigns and large vested interest stakeholders with the consultation knowledge now – it will be within the bounds of mere mortals to be on top of this information too.
