Overall local authority online consultation scores
Before Christmas, we sent out the report on our audit of local authority online consultation offerings. The audit’s been really well received, with lots of positive feedback coming from councils, but the one recurring question has been ‘where do I rank against the others?’
We deliberately avoided ‘naming and shaming’ or critical comparisons when we published our report because we were more interested in encouraging every authority towards progress than getting bogged down in one-upmanship. However, now that everyone’s had the overall report and their own scorecard, and given the apparent demand, we decided it might be an instructive addition to give a picture of how scores compare nationally.
The chart and table below show an anonymised breakdown of overall scores. You can see the scoring criteria and sections in the overall audit report. If you don’t know your local authority’s score, drop Gez a line and we can send you a copy of your individual report.
