Delib does debates (in Westminster no less!)
Delib does debates!
Some might call it natural progression, some may call it Delib 2.0, but our online jousting has just gone live. Over the next few months, Delib will be hosting a series of public debates in Westminster on a range of topics currently on the public media radar.
First up on the 30th June, is a panel discussion, in partnership with the Henry Jackson Society on the topic; “The Internet: Saviour or Corruptor of Democracy”. Keep the date free for this inaugural Delib public debate!
The event will be hosted by Danny Alexander MP and will be held in the Grand Committee Room in Westminster Hall at 6:30pm.
The panel will include Guido Fawkes (aka Paul Staines aka hot-shot political blogger), Peter Kellner (YouGov and sometime Channel 4 election poll commentator), Grant Shapps MP and an as yet unconfirmed surprise fourth guest.
So if you fancy joining in, you know where you need to be!
Next up is 6th July debate on Alcohol Pricing…watch this space for more news…
